WHAT IS VOLUME PERFECTION?
This treatment aims to enhance the fullness, shape, and definition of your lips. It’s usually done by injecting dermal fillers made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in your body. Sometimes, small amounts of Botox are also used to further improve lip volume and shape by targeting the orbicularis oris muscle. The procedure involves precisely injecting these substances into specific areas of your lips to get the desired look. Results are immediate and typically last from six months to a year, depending on the treatment.
IS LIP PERFECTION FOR ME?
If you want fuller, more defined lips, this treatment might be right for you. It’s great for those in good health with realistic expectations who want to enhance their lip shape and volume. It can help with thin or uneven lips and improve their overall look. Both dermal fillers and Botox are minimally invasive options that provide immediate results.
DURING THE PROCEDURE
First, the area is cleaned thoroughly. If dermal fillers are used, a small amount of hyaluronic acid-based filler is injected into targeted spots on the lips to add volume and shape. If Botox is also part of the treatment, tiny amounts are injected into the orbicularis oris muscle to further define the lips. The whole process usually takes around 15 to 30 minutes. After the injections, the lips might be gently massaged to make sure the filler is evenly distributed. There’s minimal downtime, and you’ll see results right away.
